Open up your organization through new roles and relationships: greater use of advisory committees, giving clients/program participants a real role in agenda setting and program operations, opportunities for co-training/co-teaching with staff, including community members and program participants on interview panels that hire agency staff, involving former clients/participants as volunteers, and other ways to utilize the strengths and assets of both your internal and external constituencies.
